The INMP441 I2S Digital Microphone is a compact, low-power, and high-accuracy audio input module widely used in modern IoT and embedded systems. Unlike traditional analog microphones, the INMP441 outputs digital audio directly over I2S, ensuring superior noise immunity, accurate sampling, and improved sound quality.
This microphone module features an omnidirectional MEMS sensor, allowing it to capture clear sound from all directions. With a built-in preamplifier and high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), it delivers excellent audio performance even in noisy environments.
Thanks to its I2S interface, the module connects easily to microcontrollers such as ESP32, ESP8266 (with I2S mod), Raspberry Pi, Arduino (with I2S library), and STM32. It supports left, right, or stereo channel selection through simple pin configuration.
